Combination of cycling motion and upper body workout ideal for functional training
Starting Saturday, a total of four AsVIVA F1 Airbikes will be used at the Oberhausen functional training Box under the name "Staycross Oberhausen". With their functional training center, founders Kay Jaster, Fadmir Adzaj, and Oliver Winter want to give popular round-based high-intensity training a new home in Oberhausen. "We found a facility here that fits us and full-body training so well," says Jaster. Over the past three months, he and his partners completely converted the former auto repair shop in a small industrial area into a spacious training facility. Divided into two large areas, warm-up workouts, introductory courses, and round-based full-body training can start simultaneously. In the large functional training hall at "Staycross Oberhausen", a total of four AsVIVA F1 Airbikes are available as a functional training station. "The Airbike is a mega-epic ergometer to really push you to your limits," Jaster explains. According to the fitness pro, it is particularly the combination of cycling movements and intense, holistic upper body training that makes the equipment so interesting for functional training: "You hit the whole endurance range perfectly with an Airbike like this, which is why we're glad to feature these machines here."
"Staycross Oberhausen" (Lessingstr. 16, 46149 Oberhausen) celebrates its opening on 02.02.2019 from 12 p.m.
