Classic treadmills – Home workouts & gym feeling
Classic treadmills offer stable, joint-friendly cardio training – regardless of the weather and with reliable frame and cushioning technology. Important criteria are cushioning and running surface (depending on body height/speed), continuous motor power, incline options, and console/apps. More compact alternatives like walking pads or flexible 2-in-1 treadmills can be found in dedicated categories – here we focus on classic models.

Buying guide
Cushioning & running surface
Multi-zone cushioning reduces impact loads. The required running surface depends on height and planned speed: The taller/faster you are, the longer and wider the deck should be – this increases safety and stride comfort.
Motor, speed & incline
Pay attention to the continuous power output (consistently available), not just peak values. For casual walking/jogging, a lower power output is sufficient; for intense running workouts, more powerful drives and a wide speed range make sense. An electronic incline adjustment enables varied profiles and higher training stimuli.
Console, programs & apps
From LED consoles to touchscreens: easy-to-read workout metrics (time, distance, pace/speed, heart rate) and useful programs are key. Depending on the model, compatibility with training apps or entertainment features is available.
Space, handling & safety
Check setup dimensions (folded dimensions if applicable), transport rollers, and maximum user weight. A solid frame construction, safety clip, and non-slip running surface are essential – especially for intensive use.

How thick is the running surface – and why does it matter?
A lot is written about cushioning, but rarely about deck thickness. Yet it plays a key role: a thicker board yields less under impact, remains level for longer, and operates more quietly. The difference is not noticeable when walking, but as soon as speed and body weight increase – and over the years, because a thin deck is more likely to sag.
Our classic treadmills by deck thickness
- 2,5 mm – T22 Studio Pro: the thickest deck in our lineup, plus the largest running surface at 155 × 58,5 cm
- 2,0 mm – T16 Smart Run, T20 Cardio Pro Runner, and T30 Pro Max: the mid-range option, sufficient for regular running
- 1,8 mm – T18 Pro and T23 Pro Climb: both rely on multi-layer construction and cushioning zones instead
The millimeter figure alone doesn't determine everything. A 1.8 mm thick deck on a rigid frame with multiple cushioning zones runs more pleasantly than a thicker one on a soft construction. Still, it serves as a good benchmark – you won't find it in any advertisement, but in our spec sheets.
Fold or leave standing? With real dimensions
The decision isn't made by the equipment, but by the room. Three of our classic treadmills fold, three are built stationary – and „foldable“ doesn't mean flat. A folded treadmill stands upright and then requires ceiling height instead of floor space.
Foldable – when the room serves other purposes too
- T20 Cardio Pro Runner – set up 174,8 × 86,7 × 158,8 cm, folded 121,2 × 86,7 × 158,8 cm: a good 53 cm shorter in length
- T18 Pro – set up 197 × 90 × 144 cm, folded 132 × 90 × 144 cm
- T16 Smart Run – foldable, 175 × 80 × 143 cm in operation
Fixed frame – when space is available
- T23 Pro Climb – 156,6 × 81,8 × 168 cm, the shortest of the three
- T30 Pro Max – 165 × 86 × 172 cm
- T22 Studio Pro – 208,3 × 98,2 × 162 cm and 218 kg weight: a machine built for a dedicated space
Keep ceiling height in mind. When running, you don't stand on the floor, but on the deck: 23 cm above it on the T18 Pro, 24 cm on the T22. So add a good 25 cm to your height, and if you move your head while running, add a little extra. For a height of 1,80 m, the ceiling should be around 2,20 m high – under a sloped ceiling, space quickly gets tight.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
What running surface size do you need?
A shorter deck is sufficient for walking or light jogging. Taller users or higher speeds require a longer and wider running surface for added safety.
What should you look for in a motor?
Continuous output is key. For ambitious running workouts, a stronger motor built for continuous loads is essential – peak values alone are not telling.
Is incline adjustment important?
Yes, it allows you to simulate uphill runs, vary intensity, and provide additional training stimuli – especially for interval workouts.
Which apps are compatible?
That depends on the model. Check the product description for app compatibility (e.g., workout or entertainment apps) and which specific features are supported.
Foldable or fixed frame?
We offer both options. The T16, T18 Pro, and T20 can be folded up – practical if the machine needs to be out of the way after your session. The T23 Pro Climb and T30 Pro Max feature a fixed construction: they stand firmer, support higher maximum loads, and handle faster speeds, but require a permanent spot. If you regularly run faster, you're better off with a rigid frame; if you train in a small apartment, go with a foldable model.
