Accessibility Statement
We want our online shop to be accessible to everyone – regardless of physical abilities or technical aids. On this page, we disclose our current progress.
Scope
This statement applies to the website www.asviva.de of AsVIVA Brands GmbH, including the online shop.
Compliance Status
The benchmark is based on the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz - BFSG) and the associated ordinance (BFSGV). Technically, we rely on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, conformance level AA, referenced by the European standard EN 301 549.
This website is partially compliant with the mentioned requirements. The areas listed below are not yet fully accessible.
Description of the Service
Through this online shop, we offer fitness equipment, e-bikes, and accessories for purchase. You can search for and compare products, add them to the shopping cart and place orders, track the shipping status, and register returns and repairs. All key information about a product – price, availability, shipping costs, technical specifications – is available as text and is therefore also accessible to screen readers.
Measures already implemented
- All images that convey information have text alternatives.
- Image links in the main navigation specify their target in plain text so that screen readers can distinguish them in a link list.
- The page structure is organized using headings; there is exactly one main heading per page.
- The pages are designed for different screen sizes and can be zoomed in without loss of content.
- Prices, shipping costs, and delivery times are displayed as text next to the product.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following issues, which have not yet been fully resolved:
- When navigating via keyboard, the current focus position is not clearly visible on all elements.
- In some areas, the heading hierarchy skips levels, for instance between the header and footer.
- The checkout process (shopping cart and checkout) has not yet been fully tested. Individual form fields might not clearly convey their purpose to screen readers.
- Embedded third-party content (such as payment services and videos) is beyond our control; we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
- PDF documents such as user manuals are not yet fully accessible. Upon request, we will gladly provide you with the content in an accessible format.
We are working on resolving these issues and continuously auditing the shop.
