Teriyaki is a Japanese cooking method. Fish, vegetables, or meat are marinated in teriyaki sauce and then grilled or pan-fried. Wonderful flavor, exotic spices, and fresh ingredients – not only delicious, but also healthy.

Grilled Teriyaki Salmon Steak with Tomatoes and Lemon
Preparation: Grilled Teriyaki Salmon Steak with Tomatoes and Lemon (serves 4)

Wash the salmon and pat dry.

Peel the shallot, garlic, and ginger.

Finely dice everything, mix with the honey, teriyaki sauce, pepper, and sesame oil, and marinate the salmon steaks in it for approx. 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat up a grill.

Wash the lemons with hot water, pat dry, and halve horizontally.

Carefully wash the cherry tomatoes, pat dry, place in a perforated grill basket, and grill for approx. 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, then keep warm at the edge of the grill.

Lightly oil the grate and grill the salmon for 2-3 minutes per side depending on thickness, basting repeatedly with the marinade.

Place the lemons cut-side down on the grate until distinct grill marks appear.

Arrange the salmon steaks on plates and drizzle with the remaining marinade.

Arrange the tomatoes and grilled lemons alongside and serve everything.
